We were honoured to be part of Toy Factory’s headline production for 2018. Sometimes Moon charts the birth and growth of a clan association over the last hundred years, with amazing costumes, set design and musical numbers performed in both Hokkien & Mandarin.

Each scene is narrated and inspired by a key figure of the decade. From the perspectives of a maiden from the Qing Dynasty, coolies forging a new life in Nanyang of the 1920s, to the comfort ladies of the 1960s.

Here and Beyond

Stanley Seah directs the theatrical adaptation of the novel by Cyril Wong. Telling the stories of our city through the eyes of 12 Singaporeans, including S. Rajaratnam, Yeo Wei Wei, Goh SIn Tub, Stephanie Ye, Alfian Sa’at and more.

Stunning visual storytelling coupled with shadow puppetry, depicting the struggle that makes us who we are.
